Sunday Lunch
Another awesome Sunday service. It was good to hear Andre's experiences of his travels in The Congo and then Aje preached about man being created in the image of God and knocked any theories of evolution into a cocked hat. We then went to Col'Cocchio's for pizza and WOW! what pizza. They were big and GORGEOUS! I had a very unusual one with chicken tikka strips and yogurt and corianda with crispy onions. Yum! Duncan didn't like the sound of that so ordered something different but when it came he liked the taste!!!
We went with Louise, Jacqueline, Michelle and Daniel Louw who have become very close friends during our stay here. They are such good company, very easy and relaxed and we always enjoy our time with them.
They are a very talented family and as you can see from the photos - Jacqueline is a talented artist. The restaurant have a good idea in that they put brown paper sheets on the tables and supply the customers with crayons for them to doodle as they await their meals. Jacqueline sat opposite me and produced the sketch above in a few minutes with a few choice strokes of the crayon! Impressive eh?! It will be one of my treasured momentos of our trip.

What a good idea to enable customers to draw while they are waiting for food. Perhaps you could introduce it here when you come back? Sounds a great service for you. We too had a great service with an African band on Sunday morning. Great worship time. Love Mum/Pam xx
