Jamie was 20 yesterday and was sad because she couldn't celebrate the day with the MBC students as it is holiday time and the college is closed. Marlize therefore organised a surprise party at her place and a group of us got together and had a lovely time.Thanks to Louw the balloons added the final touch to the party mood!
The body functions so well here and everyone feels loved. We began our party with a spontaneous time of affirmation for Jamie, everyone wanted to share what they thought was special about their friend. I think it is good to articulate these thoughts and feelings sometimes, rather than leaving them as thoughts.
Yes I agree about telling someone the truth about your feelings for them and not to be embarrassed at doing it. Sometimes the problems arises that people don't know how to respond to this show of love and affection and appreciation. My prayer is that we all be open both to give and receive. Love Mum/Pam xx
